0:00:12 kardiania or ahmadiyya
0:00:14 which is a religion in and of itself
0:00:17 which has started in india which claims
0:00:21 makes a claim
0:00:22 to islam in fact so those adherents of
0:00:25 that religion claim to be muslim
0:00:27 but like many other religions in the
0:00:30 world have not been seen as such by
0:00:33 the majority if not all major muslim
0:00:35 denominations
0:00:37 so we're going to start with the as we
0:00:39 do
0:00:40 as part of tradition here in londonia
0:00:42 the poem and then we'll come back we're
0:00:44 going to make this into a seminar type
0:00:46 discussion where we have some very
0:00:48 special guests
0:00:49 uh from different places of the land and
0:00:52 indeed outside of the land today to
0:00:54 contribute
0:00:55 uh to today's session
0:01:18 we'll start with that i mean clearly
0:01:21 uh the main
0:01:23 nullifier which we have put forward in
0:01:25 many of the debates that we have done
0:01:28 of uh their claim that there will be
0:01:30 another prophet
0:01:32 after prophet muhammad is that which is
0:01:34 mentioned the quran very clearly
0:01:36 that the prophet muhammad
0:01:41 he is the final prophet and the prophet
0:01:43 salallahu himself he said he said that
0:01:45 himself in many hadiths
0:01:48 there's no prophet after me that should
0:01:50 really be enough and that should
0:01:53 be sufficient to be honest with you
0:01:56 uh to close the discussion on whether
0:01:57 there can be a prophet or someone who
0:01:59 claims to be a prophet
0:02:01 after the prophet muhammad but of course
0:02:04 it isn't for many of the adherents
0:02:06 who employ a very peculiar type of isa
0:02:09 jesus
0:02:10 onto the quranic narrative to try and
0:02:14 warp the verses of the quran and distort
0:02:17 the meanings
0:02:18 therein
0:02:19 we're going to start with
0:02:20 i think is
0:02:22 probably most sensible and appropriate
0:02:24 and pertinent here to start with
0:02:26 something about
0:02:28 ahmad which you can call him
0:02:32 as uh
0:02:33 as for sure
0:02:38 so we'll start with uh
0:02:41 something about the tea about the
0:02:42 biography
0:02:43 of this uh this this
0:02:46 individual
0:02:48 how are you
0:02:51 how are you
0:02:52 very fake how are you today as everyone
0:02:54 it's not bad
0:02:55 good to be here thanks for inviting me
0:02:57 and uh inshallah we'll start off
0:03:00 by his birth
0:03:02 so
0:03:03 he was born
0:03:04 in 1835 at the time when uh the sikh
0:03:07 empire was ruling northern india yes uh
0:03:10 so he was born at that particular time
0:03:12 he wasn't there's no sort of um
0:03:16 educational background he had his father
0:03:18 was a soldier in the sikh empire and
0:03:21 thereafter i think uh those who know
0:03:23 history the british east india core
0:03:25 company came and
0:03:27 took over that region
0:03:30 was born in 1835 in the reign of the
0:03:33 sikh empire when they were ruling their
0:03:35 leader was
0:03:36 maharaja ranjit singh
0:03:38 and thereafter obviously the british
0:03:39 empire took over so he has no religious
0:03:41 schooling his father enlisted in the
0:03:43 british
0:03:44 army he was
0:03:46 himself uh a clerk his father
0:03:49 didn't really teach there wasn't no
0:03:51 predominant madrasah in kordian
0:03:53 in eastern punjab okay so when the
0:03:55 partition happened obviously that side
0:03:57 went into the indian territory rather
0:03:59 than the pakistani territory okay so
0:04:01 there wasn't much religious education
0:04:03 that
0:04:04 had
0:04:05 and then from there obviously later on
0:04:07 when his father passed away
0:04:09 he ventured on a particular
0:04:13 extremism when it comes to his claims
0:04:15 and we'll get to that later so basically
0:04:17 he didn't have much religious education
0:04:19 and his father really you know sent him
0:04:21 off to just work in you know
0:04:23 administration as part of the british
0:04:25 empire so that's just basically his
0:04:26 earlier early early life and we'll get
0:04:28 to inshallah about what he claimed later
0:04:30 on where do you get a lot of these
0:04:31 sources then what are you looking at
0:04:34 the the source most of the source is
0:04:35 from syracuse which was written by his
0:04:37 son
0:04:39 but he wrote books which we'll get into
0:04:42 one of his main books was
0:04:45 which he wrote himself but there's
0:04:47 really a ghost writer a ghost
0:04:48 scriptwriter basically at the behind the
0:04:50 scenes what language was it with his
0:04:52 book
0:04:54 some he had obviously ability to write
0:04:56 persian because at that time when the
0:04:57 mughals were in power uh persian was
0:04:59 predominantly obviously
0:05:01 some books written in arabic as well
0:05:02 right uh these books not that i uh
0:05:05 recall i think the one book that i know
0:05:07 burhan al-ahmadiyah i think was sort of
0:05:09 a mixture between the two farsi urdu and
0:05:12 arabic but me personally i'm not sure
0:05:13 whether he wrote arabic per se okay
0:05:15 because of his background i know he
0:05:17 wrote jesus in india and other books but
0:05:19 nothing obviously connected to uh any
0:05:23 okay okay anyone else have anything to
0:05:25 add here
0:05:26 on the uh
0:05:28 on
0:05:30 his upbringing something about his life
0:05:32 something that you have researched
0:05:35 i should have questioned yeah okay um
0:05:39 yeah so you mentioned that he went into
0:05:41 administration with the british i mean
0:05:43 is there like what was he doing at that
0:05:45 moment in time because there's a lot
0:05:46 made of his connection to the british
0:05:48 and people say that he was basically
0:05:49 like a colonialist project so what what
0:05:52 exactly was he doing in that
0:05:53 administration his father got him that
0:05:55 job uh he was from kardian he went to
0:05:57 cia court which if you notice a
0:05:59 partition and that's on the pakistan
0:06:01 punjab so he went there just to work in
0:06:03 administration to collect taxes for the
0:06:05 british so his father got in that role
0:06:08 so he there was always a british
0:06:09 imperialist project
0:06:11 at the get-go his claims were later on
0:06:14 in his life
0:06:15 so when he claimed to be a pr well
0:06:16 profit was at the last stage so you
0:06:17 claim to be obviously various things
0:06:20 did the promised messiah the mahdi and
0:06:22 then later the last stage was his claim
0:06:25 to prophethood so yeah he was just
0:06:27 basically a clerk collecting taxes uh on
0:06:29 behalf of the british but his father got
0:06:31 him that job was he married
0:06:33 um he got married young i think at 12
0:06:35 13.
0:06:36 yeah yeah um in kardian uh but
0:06:40 i don't know much of his of his kid i
0:06:41 know he's the second khalifa was his son
0:06:44 but the the main guy behind the scene
0:06:47 was and i think by his name but i'll get
0:06:49 that later but yeah he didn't he had he
0:06:51 had kids early he had kids early
0:06:53 all right
0:06:54 so the second thing we want to talk
0:06:56 about are some of the things
0:06:59 when he became for you know he claimed
0:07:03 to be the mahdi when he claimed
0:07:06 to be
0:07:08 jesus or jesus second coming or not
0:07:10 jesus himself but you know their
0:07:12 theology in fact let's start with this
0:07:14 not jesus of course maryam
0:07:18 how do we and let's get someone else
0:07:20 first and then come back how do we how
0:07:22 do we explain this here who can who
0:07:24 wants to venture to try and explain the
0:07:25 theology of the ahmadiyya yeah
0:07:29 right
0:07:30 the um
0:07:32 basically the
0:07:33 the narrative comes from
0:07:36 the gospel of mark
0:07:38 because what they do is they take um
0:07:41 in mark it says that jesus was only on
0:07:44 the cross for three to six hours
0:07:47 which isn't enough to actually kill
0:07:49 someone
0:07:50 and also there's no explanation
0:07:54 uh sorry they didn't mention that his
0:07:56 legs were broken which they do to hasten
0:07:58 the person's death
0:08:00 so that's not enough to actually kill
0:08:02 someone
0:08:03 so basically they're taking that
0:08:05 narrative and and they weave it into the
0:08:07 um
0:08:08 uh in his book jesus in islam sorry
0:08:12 jesus in india
0:08:14 they basically say that he
0:08:17 had some kind of jesus was taken off the
0:08:19 cross alive
0:08:20 he was in what's called a swoon state
0:08:23 yeah so it's like catatonic yep and he
0:08:26 was somehow revived in the cave
0:08:29 uh he had a special ointment prepared
0:08:32 they don't know whether it was before
0:08:34 the the crucifixion or afterwards but
0:08:38 the um
0:08:41 some guy called
0:08:44 from amathias joseph of arimathea
0:08:47 he brought the ointment and after three
0:08:50 days
0:08:51 jesus was sorry jesus was able to
0:08:54 recover
0:08:56 and
0:08:57 give his last sermon to his disciples
0:09:00 and then he moved across into
0:09:04 a town which is in
0:09:06 kurdistan is called uh
0:09:09 nisibis
0:09:10 uh he traveled first of all there which
0:09:12 is in modern-day turkey
0:09:15 and with some disciples
0:09:18 and uh from there he uh he was um he met
0:09:22 the king of the the area
0:09:24 and he heard about
0:09:26 the jewish populations the lost tribes
0:09:29 of israel
0:09:30 from there he went to persia
0:09:33 and
0:09:34 he uh continued his his um
0:09:38 his travels through to afghanistan where
0:09:40 he met the lost tribes of israel so he
0:09:43 actually makes the claim
0:09:45 uh this is
0:09:47 he's putting this in his book further
0:09:50 they
0:09:51 he moves from afghanistan into
0:09:55 india
0:09:57 where he
0:09:58 actually settled they say that jesus
0:10:00 settled in india
0:10:01 in the kashmir region and he found which
0:10:04 were the remnants of another lost tribe
0:10:07 of israel
0:10:08 and he died eventually at the age of 130
0:10:14 and there's an actual tomb there to this
0:10:16 date it's um
0:10:18 it's uh yeah there's a particular
0:10:22 saints tomb that they claim is the last
0:10:24 uh
0:10:26 last wrestling place of jesus
0:10:28 so that's what what the claim is made in
0:10:31 his book as well okay fantastic that was
0:10:33 very good uh summary there
0:10:35 um
0:10:37 mad that you've been away for some time
0:10:38 so you don't you haven't done the
0:10:40 research have you
0:10:41 have you done any research yourself
0:10:45 basically yeah about the claim that he's
0:10:48 uh he's
0:10:49 the methi and right right yeah
0:10:51 absolutely can you cover that so going
0:10:53 back going to their page yeah i'm gonna
0:10:56 read what they what they believe what
0:10:57 was this
0:10:59 from the ahmadiyya page yeah islam yeah

0:11:05 official website yeah okay so they've
0:11:06 got an official website they've got an
0:11:08 official caliphate you know and
0:11:10 obviously now there's being uh
0:11:11 some allegations yeah youtube channel
0:11:14 that's where they have an official
0:11:15 youtube channel as well okay um so they
0:11:18 they say
0:11:19 from the tradition uh the holy prophet
0:11:21 is
0:11:22 evident that the promised messiah was to
0:11:24 be follower of the follower of the holy
0:11:26 prophet
0:11:27 and one of the traditions tell us the
0:11:29 master is no other than the messiah in
0:11:32 ibrahim
0:11:35 another tradition says who will who
0:11:37 would it be
0:11:39 with you when the son of mary will
0:11:41 descend among you and you will have a
0:11:43 leader raised from among you
0:11:45 which to me is buhari
0:11:53 and
0:11:55 which to me that's the same because any
0:11:56 of that i don't know i don't know
0:11:59 i mean
0:12:01 you'll find a lot of famous evidence
0:12:03 you know to be fair
0:12:05 from
0:12:06 uh i don't wanna say nothing but this is
0:12:08 like like dealing with kids
0:12:10 kicking him claiming
0:12:12 or today i
0:12:14 i woke up and
0:12:15 i thought i saw a flower
0:12:17 and i i played this game of she loves me
0:12:20 she doesn't love me if you love me and
0:12:22 oh you
0:12:30 therefore he must be the messiah
0:12:32 this kind of claims around
0:12:34 yeah yeah so
0:12:37 place simple because from from my
0:12:38 understanding
0:12:42 would be the hobby with you when the son
0:12:44 of mary will descend among you and you
0:12:46 will have uh you will have a leader rest
0:12:49 from among you
0:12:51 so
0:12:52 i understand from from this that
0:12:55 the
0:12:56 summary uh
0:12:58 jesus
0:12:59 will come
0:13:00 and we will have before that we will
0:13:02 have a
0:13:03 leader between us which is almighty
0:13:06 that's why i understand
0:13:08 what they understand is this relation
0:13:09 these two traditions leave no doubt that
0:13:11 the messiah himself would be the mati
0:13:14 uh i don't know however
0:13:16 okay good at this point
0:13:19 what is a really good evidence against
0:13:20 them from islam because
0:13:24 let's first of all get the position
0:13:25 right what what are they saying are they
0:13:27 saying
0:13:29 that you have he is al-mahdi and he's
0:13:32 the son of mary the messiah not the son
0:13:34 of
0:13:35 they are not claiming from what i
0:13:36 understand that he is jesus
0:13:42 are they claiming that he is jesus no
0:13:44 they believe they believe jesus is dead
0:13:47 okay he is the son of mary
0:13:50 they're not claiming that he is jesus no
0:13:52 okay good not the same jesus that's in
0:13:53 the quran no
0:13:56 yeah yeah go on okay so
0:14:00 no i must so he's he's the son of mary
0:14:03 but he's not jesus
0:14:05 the second coming
0:14:07 so jesus jesus died jesus is passed away
0:14:11 uh in
0:14:12 okay
0:14:13 so sorry
0:14:21 so the
0:14:22 connection is that they use the hadith
0:14:25 they said there's no mahdi apart from
0:14:27 israel maryam
0:14:31 all the signs according to them they
0:14:32 built a white mineral you know the
0:14:33 hadith the famous hadith that jesus
0:14:35 would come down they actually built a
0:14:37 white minaret in kardian
0:14:39 to indicate that this
0:14:42 was the correlation this is where it
0:14:45 gets confusing because i don't
0:14:46 understand how they could apply jesus is
0:14:48 the son of mary
0:14:50 unto me
0:14:52 this is just totally bad what are they
0:14:54 saying are they saying they're not
0:14:55 saying he's jesus
0:14:56 so they're
0:15:18 instead of jesus it's gonna be it's
0:15:20 gonna be him
0:15:21 so yeah that's what that's all that
0:15:23 jesus is dead yeah and this there will
0:15:26 be a messiah but this messiah will not
0:15:28 be jesus it will be
0:15:30 uh
0:15:31 right now what's a great going back to
0:15:34 the question
0:15:35 we'll leave it open to the
0:15:37 participants i understand from this yeah

0:16:18 so this this would mean that if if it's
0:16:20 true the
0:16:22 this mirror
0:16:23 gulam he's the mehti and he's the
0:16:25 messiah
0:16:27 why are we still waiting for the day of
0:16:28 him okay i got it because you got a good
0:16:31 point but what did what the implies what
0:16:33 they say is
0:16:35 we have to take all metaphorically
0:16:37 yeah yeah but it would still mean
0:16:40 that if messiah is there

0:17:12 going to be some kind of interaction
0:17:14 between humans yeah
0:17:30 because they have interactions um in i
0:17:33 believe in uh
0:17:34 in the masjid i'm not sure i can't
0:17:36 remember this is a syrian accent
0:17:39 that when he comes down so your name is
0:17:42 yeah yeah
0:17:43 jonah you know
0:17:59 to lead but then the mahdi i mean
0:18:02 him says no you need because
0:18:03 he's okay
0:18:06 yeah clear example that's the difference
0:18:07 between the two it's on the chambers

0:18:10 um the mahdi will lead yes the messiah
0:18:14 in the end of days
0:18:16 but he's according to their theology

0:18:24 disturbance

0:18:26 they'll have to metaphorize it right
0:18:29 because a narrative
0:18:31 rests on the case that um
0:18:33 that uh
0:18:34 prophet jesus actually passed away yes
0:18:38 on the cross so so unless they can they
0:18:40 can bulldoze that into the narrative
0:18:43 their their whole
0:18:44 um a key that felt falls on its face i
0:18:48 agree with that but i think they make it
0:18:50 a point of um
0:18:53 focus like if you if you speak with
0:18:57 some of these khadiyans and stuff
0:18:59 they'll want you to focus on whether or
0:19:01 not jesus died
0:19:03 and they'll even bring you a quail from
0:19:05 tafsirs and what is the word
0:19:16 you know i have
0:19:17 uh taken you and so on and then usually
0:19:20 the back and forth is like well
0:19:22 allah
0:19:31 and it's also in sleep
0:19:33 so this is usually the back and forth we
0:19:34 have we say the word is clearly not
0:19:38 just mean death because it says that
0:19:42 the ones that don't die and the word the
0:19:44 tawafi is still there
0:19:46 right so this is usually the back and
0:19:48 forth we have it doesn't have to mean
0:19:49 death
0:19:51 but this is where they they have the
0:19:52 most leverage
0:19:54 because what we could come back and say
0:19:55 well actually it doesn't matter whether
0:19:56 or not he he died
0:19:58 because that's not what the claim
0:20:00 really just starts there
0:20:03 uh it doesn't mean if if we believe that
0:20:05 jesus we don't believe but we if we
0:20:08 believe that jesus died for the sake of
0:20:09 argument it doesn't mean your religion
0:20:11 is right and our religion is wrong
0:20:12 it doesn't have creedal disproven or
0:20:14 creed or proving implications because
0:20:16 you still have so many layers of things
0:20:18 to prove
0:20:19 so when they spend if you spend an hour
0:20:20 speaking to an acadiani and 30 40
0:20:24 minutes of it is speaking about whether
0:20:25 or not jesus died it will make it seem
0:20:27 as if they have leverage which they
0:20:29 don't actually have
0:20:30 so instead of focusing on
0:20:33 whether or not jesus died let's focus
0:20:35 whether or not it's possible for there
0:20:36 to be a new prophet let's focus on
0:20:38 whether or not it's possible that that
0:20:40 new prophet is the mahdi and the second
0:20:42 coming of the messiah at the same time
0:20:44 because these things are more damning
0:20:46 these things are more qatari
0:20:48 but on this point i think there's
0:20:50 something else which is more damning in
0:20:51 qatar
0:20:52 which is recently explored
0:20:55 which is the
0:20:56 uh the false prophecies
0:20:59 of ghulam
0:21:00 bulayim he has made some false
0:21:03 prophecies
0:21:05 saying
0:21:06 things that are going to happen in the
0:21:08 future
0:21:09 which we have seen have not happened
0:21:13 in fact the opposite of this thing has
0:21:14 happened like the one i've came across
0:21:17 and we've seen i've actually made a
0:21:18 video about it as well
0:21:20 is there was a particular woman that he
0:21:21 was in love with called muhammad begum
0:21:24 and he said i
0:21:26 you know i'm paraphrasing here but he
0:21:28 will marry her
0:21:29 and he put his credibility on the line
0:21:31 by saying that he never married her
0:21:33 so this is something that's either
0:21:35 happening or it didn't happen and it
0:21:37 didn't happen which means he lied but if
0:21:39 he's speaking on behalf of god how can
0:21:41 he say that something is going to happen
0:21:43 and the opposite of it happened it's the
0:21:45 equivalent of you know the quran says
0:21:49 it's like the op is the equivalent of
0:21:51 the persians being the romans
0:21:53 that's what it's equivalent of it
0:21:54 completely undermines
0:21:56 the narrative i'll give you one example
0:21:58 just one simple to show you that
0:22:00 oh he claimed revelation yes he claimed
0:22:03 a lot of things and one example would be
0:22:04 he wrote in jesus in india which i've
0:22:06 got the book here he mentioned a
0:22:08 narration
0:22:10 and in the book
0:22:11 he mentioned the narrator of the hadith
0:22:13 as abdullah bin umar
0:22:15 well if you go to the book
0:22:17 uh
0:22:18 and you go to tariq
0:22:19 the narrative actually abdullah means
0:22:22 subhanallah he didn't even know the
0:22:23 noise
0:22:24 and this is in jesus india um and this
0:22:27 is obviously here
0:22:28 uh he slams here
0:22:30 uh and in the same book volume six page
0:22:32 fifty one abdullah i've been on the
0:22:33 report now if he's a prophet subhanallah
0:22:35 revelations
0:22:37 between abdullah bin abdullah
0:22:39 scholarship it's basically ridiculous
0:22:41 how can a profit make such a so-called
0:22:43 profit make
0:22:44 make such a basic mistake
0:22:46 now if they one of their uh i've done a
0:22:48 video on it and uh one of the
0:22:50 cheerleaders mentioned that no but in
0:22:52 the urdu print in kansas
0:22:54 uh there was a misprint or you know he
0:22:56 had a wrong copy well if he's getting
0:22:58 revelation he should rely on copies and
0:22:59 should he absolutely should know that
0:23:01 well done yeah absolutely absolutely
0:23:05 hold on there's a misprint this is
0:23:06 really powerful
0:23:07 this is a very powerful point very
0:23:08 powerful point and that just just that
0:23:10 just is one evidence alone yeah just
0:23:12 this is one evidence alone just
0:23:13 basically refutes guardians in a
0:23:15 nutshell allah is finished because how
0:23:17 can a prophet that you're saying that
0:23:18 he's gotten the narrator wrong
0:23:20 so if god is speaking to you this is not
0:23:22 a matter of
0:23:24 dunya it's a matter of deen
0:23:27 it's not like anton allen
0:23:29 like you know you can't be that
0:23:31 situation
0:23:33 because that could be an argument you
0:23:34 can put forward well this is a matter of
0:23:35 religion yeah and he's narrating this in
0:23:38 his book jesus in india to argue that
0:23:40 jesus
0:23:41 passed away or lived in india or in
0:23:44 srinagar or in kashmir and on top of
0:23:46 that as well which we need to add is
0:23:48 that the quran is also believed that
0:23:49 maryam ali salaam died in a place off
0:23:52 she accompanied isa al-islam on the way
0:23:55 to kashmir in india and she passed away
0:23:57 in a city called mori
0:24:00 what's it called murray murray m-u-a
0:24:05 yeah the reason tragic event happened
0:24:07 there but she's passed away and buried
0:24:09 there yeah
0:24:10 so
0:24:11 it just shows you the extent of
0:24:12 stupidity that they will go to that mary
0:24:15 or mariam alaihis is buried in murray
0:24:17 which is in the punjab province and it's
0:24:20 really interesting that it's like a
0:24:21 desperation
0:24:23 to try and create an indo-centric
0:24:25 religious narrative
0:24:27 same thing with sikhism it's like we've
0:24:29 seen this one in the previous session we
0:24:30 talked about how like sikhism has now
0:24:32 become
0:24:33 a very endocentric religion where is
0:24:36 where's the thicker or where is
0:24:37 dimension of all the other nations or
0:24:39 all the other places
0:24:40 this is one of the evidences of islam
0:24:42 being the truth of course
0:24:44 because you don't find it the arabian
0:24:46 peninsula being emphasized in the quran
